NCCJ National History
Founded in 1927, NCCJ is a human relations organization dedicated to the following mission: To fight bias, bigotry and racism and to promote respect and understanding among all races, religions and cultures through education, conflict resolution and advocacy.
Many know us by our original name of The National Conference of Christians and Jews. In the 1990’s NCCJ changed its name to The National Conference for Community and Justice to better reflect our mission and the broad scope of our work. However, with our rich heritage of groundbreaking interfaith work, NCCJ remains committed to this tradition as well as offering premiere youth and adult programming.
